My home is large and light filled with a wrap - around balcony in a quiet area of Bonny Hills. It is at the top of a hill so gets ocean breezes and is 1km from the beach and local takeaway shop. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, garden centre and cafe and Bonny Hills tavern. Lake Cathie Woolworths, BWS, chemist, bakery etc are approximately 7 minutes drive away.
I am renting out the large upstairs semi self contained studio - style bedroom / apartment with ensuite, which has ocean and tree views.
It includes double bed and bedsides, chest of drawers and built in cupboard, as well as a clothes cupboard, hanging rail and clothes drying rail. Linen and towels can be provided if required. Large couch, coffee table, bookcase, smart TV, large desk and desk chair are provided. There is a dining table and chair, food cupboard, full fridge with freezer, microwave, jug, toaster, air fryer and cutlery and crockery. Ceiling fan for cooling, and gas heater (which is packed away in Summer). Gas, electricity, water and wifi are included, as is Netflix and Amazon Prime.
There is shared use of the house kitchen (including pots and pans and appliances), laundry and large balcony and garden with hammock. One car space in the double garage, with internal access. If you don't need the car space you can use it for storage if required. Extra under house storage possible if needed.
The lease is a minimum of 3 months which can be renewed on a flexible basis if both parties are happy (can possibly be changed to a longer renewable lease after initial 3 months). Move in date can possibly be flexible to suit, after negotiation.
A bit about me: I am a middle - aged female High School Teacher with a small, friendly dog. I have two adult daughters who stay sometimes during their holidays. I like to walk my dog, go to the beach, read, watch tv, go to the movies and travel. I am looking to rent to a person who does not smoke or take drugs, who is tidy and clean, easy going and respectful and is happy to live in a house where there is a dog (my dog wouldn't have access to your room). Potential tenants should be working, or a student with the ability to pay the rent.
